How the commission inquiry works

Together, we explore how your idea can be translated into a distinctive photographic work that reflects both your story and my artistic vision.

1. Share Your Idea

Every commission starts with a conversation. Tell me about the idea, place, person or story you would like to have photographed. This can be via phone, email or face to face. You do not need to arrive with a fully developed concept — sometimes a simple thought is enough to begin.

2. Developing the Concept

Based on our conversation, together we develop a photographic direction for the project. We discuss location, atmosphere, visual approach and the way light, movement, human presence or architecture can become part of the final image. The aim is not simply to document what is there, but to create photographs with its own character and meaning.

3. Creating the Photograph

Once the concept is established, the photography takes place. Depending on the project, this may involve careful preparation or simply allowing space for unexpected moments to emerge. My approach remains observational and intuitive, searching for the moment when composition, light, emotion and atmosphere come together.

4. From Image to Artwork

After the photography, I carefully select and develop the strongest images. Post-production is an important part of my creative process and helps shape the atmosphere and visual identity of the final work. Together, we can then determine the most suitable presentation, size and finish for the selected photograph.

5. Your Commissioned Artwork

The final result is more than a photograph of a person, place or moment. It is a photographic artwork created specifically from your story, environment or idea — interpreted through my way of seeing. Each commission is different. That is exactly what makes it personal.
